Pilates is a safe, effective and balanced exercise system developed by the late Joseph Pilates (1883-1967) It is suitable for all ages and abilities and is based on corrective exercise, building balance from deep within, through a series of flowing controlled mindful movements, progressing to the more challenging advanced Classical series. Depending on your needs, your Instructor will guide you through an individually tailored programme, encouraging you to learn, adapt and challenge yourself.
We teach our Pilates Matwork classes in small groups of no more than 12 to ensure quality Instruction and guidance. You can book your course of Pilates matwork classes through our online booking system, where you will find them clearly defined from Level 1 (easy) to Level 3 (advanced). If you have not attended a Pilates class before or have any particular concerns it is always advisable to book in for a 1-1 first. This will teach you the basic fundamentals of a Pilates class and address any individual areas of concern.
